Discover Innovation, Explore Precision with Dino-Lite! 37th Control | 06 to 09 May 2025 | Messe Stuttgart
We are thrilled to unveil groundbreaking advancements in microscopy, imaging and lighting technology at the upcoming Control Fair at Messe Stuttgart, Germany. Dino-Lite and Photonic cordially invites you to join us on a journey of discovery as we showcase our latest products and cutting-edge solutions in the realm of digital microscopy and lighting.
In this Application Story we dive into the possibilities of working with Dino-Lite in Primary Education.
Dino-Lite USB microscopes provide students with easy access to a microscopic world, with basic models offering up to 200x magnification for detailed observation of insects, electronics, and more. Particularly, one basic model (AF3113T) connects directly to a PC, making it an excellent option for individual students in the classroom. For classroom discussions, the higher-resolution Dino-Lite Premier models (for example; AM4113T) allow for display on digital blackboards or screens. Features include a touch button for image capture and measurement capabilities with DinoCapture software. The MS12C basic stand is designed for basic models like AM3111 and casual use.

For environments where computer use is impractical or when real-time video is essential, the Dino-Lite series with HDMI, DVI, VGA, or TV connections provides an effective solution.
The VGA model connects directly to a computer monitor, while DVI and TV models can be linked to TV screens for immediate viewing. These high speed models excel in capturing dynamic processes, offering frame rates of up to 60 frames per second. This capability is particularly beneficial for tasks requiring real-time imaging, such as working on PCBs or observing quickly moving objects under a microscope.
Real Time Discoveries
High Speed microscopes are pivotal in studying cellular processes like mitosis, enabling researchers to monitor cell division and drug responses in real time. Additionally, in materials science, they assist in analysing material behaviour under stress, revealing crack initiation and propagation. This detailed insight helps in developing stronger materials and enhancing engineering applications.
Upgrade the dermatological practice with the Dino-Lite DermaScope® range—a new generation of compact and affordable digital dermatoscopes designed for precision and convenience.
With models like the DermaScope® Polarizer 200x (MEDL4DM), DermaScope® Polarizer HR (MEDL7DW), and the wireless DermaScope® Wireless (MEDLW4DW), these versatile tools deliver sharp, clear images and videos of skin conditions without discomfort or long waiting times for patients. Adaptable for any clinical scenario
Featuring built-in adjustable polarizers to reduce skin gloss, the DermaScope® provides detailed imaging of skin layers, lesions, and nevi (moles). Whether you're examining a complex nevus or capturing larger surface areas with magnifications ranging from 10x to 200x, this device supports water or oil usage but doesn’t always require it—making it adaptable for any clinical scenario.
Experience every observation in vivid detail with the 8 MP Edge PLUS series, carefully crafted to deliver high-quality imaging.
The superior optics adopted in the latest Edge series reveals the finest details, answering the needs of the most demanding microscopy applications. Available as LWD (long working distance), Microscopes in this range offer an image resolution from 1.3 megapixel up to 8 megapixel, a USB connection and include the user-friendly DinoCapture software.
The new Dino-Lite pricelist (effective April 2023) is available and includes the new wireless models for Dino-Lite Medical.

In Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland), the UKCA mark (UK Conformity Assessment) is the new product marking required for certain products marketed in Great Britain.
It covers most products that previously required CE marking. In the United Kingdom, the UKCA mark came into force July 1, 2021, although the CE mark will continue to be recognized until the end of 2024. The UKCA mark will replace the CE mark in the near future. From the beginning of 2025, however, only UKCA-marked products will be accepted in Britain.
Difference between UKCA & CE marking
The UKCA marking applies to products in the UK market excluding Northern Ireland. In continental Europe, CE marking is sufficient. This is the main difference between UKCA and CE marking.
UKCA certifications for Dino-Lite are available upon request: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
