In the United Kingdom, the UKCA mark came into force July 1, 2021, although the CE mark will continue to be recognized until the end of 2024. The UKCA mark will replace the CE mark in the near future. From the beginning of 2025, however, only UKCA-marked products will be accepted in Britain.
  
  Difference between UKCA & CE marking The UKCA marking applies to products in the UK market excluding Northern Ireland. In continental Europe, CE marking is sufficient. This is the main difference between UKCA and CE marking.
