El dispositivo Dino-Lite DermaScope® Polarizer HR (MEDL7DW) tiene una cámara de 5 mega píxeles para capturar imágenes más nítidas con más detalles e incluye un filtro de polarización incorporado y totalmente ajustable para reducir en gran medida el efecto de brillo de la piel.
El modelo MEDL7DW tiene dos niveles diferentes de aumento (aproximadamente 20 x a aproximadamente 45x) sin necesidad de cambiar la distancia con respecto a la piel. Si se utiliza la pata adicional, es posible obtener una imagen con una área de superficie mayor con un aumento de aproximadamente 10x. El MEDL7DW también se diferencia del MEDL4DW por su delgada carcasa de metal.
