Il microscopio digitale Dino-Lite AM4115T-GFBW è ottimizzato per la ricerca e la visualizzazione di oggetti fluorescenti tramite l'utilizzo di LED 480nm. Ha un filtro di emissione da 510nm che è progettato per osservare inclusa ma non limitata alla GFP (proteina fluorescente verde).
Rispetto al tradizionale microscopio a fluorescenza di tipo passa-banda dei filtri di emissione, il filtro per le emissioni di tipo passa lunga di Dino-Lite fornisce visibilità e sensibilità in una più ampia gamma di lunghezza d'onda di fluorescenza. Gli oggetti con fluorescenza verde risaltano al microscopio e si può chiaramente vedere il loro bagliore verde. Il AM4115T-GFBW ha la capacità di cambiare la sorgente luminosa dai LED di eccitazione 480nm al LED bianco, che sono comodi per localizzare l'oggetto e regolare con facilità la messa a fuoco.
